Rank & Retire is a mobile application for military career planning and retirement projection. The app is developed and operated by an individual developer based in the United States. For privacy-related questions, contact us at support@ranknretire.com.
Rank & Retire is designed as a fully on-device application. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of the following:
— Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
— Your military branch, rank, years of service, or service history
— Your pay, compensation, TSP contribution, or financial data
— Your retirement system selection or pension projections
— Any career track data you create within the app
— Your device's location
— Any usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral data
— Any other personally identifiable information
All data you enter is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your device. We have no servers that receive, process, or retain your data.
Career tracks, projections, and settings you create are stored locally using standard on-device storage, subject to your operating system's data protection practices. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is deleted with it.
We do not have the ability to access, recover, or restore data stored on your device.
The free tier displays advertisements served by third-party ad networks. These networks may collect device identifiers (such as an advertising ID) in accordance with their own privacy policies. This collection is governed by their policies, not ours.
To opt out of interest-based advertising: on iOS go to Settings → Privacy → Tracking; on Android go to Settings → Google → Ads.
Paid subscribers who have removed ads are not subject to ad network data collection through our app.
Rank & Retire is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies. In-app subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive or store your payment information.
Rank & Retire is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us at support@ranknretire.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. If we begin collecting personal information in the future, we will update this policy before doing so. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
